Symbol for Windows - backing up

1. Close first all SfW -applications.

2. We recommend backing up over the network, to another workstation, USB memory stick or on CD. If you backups are on the same hard drive as your original files, once the hard drive breaks down, you'll loose both original files and backups.

3. If you use Bliss, choose the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Handicom Shared\Databases\Bliss".

4. Copy all files with the name beginning with 'Bliss' (Bliss.sym, Bliss.tbl etc.) jne. to your backup folder.

5. Choose the folder "C:\Program Files\Handicom\SymForWin\Documents".

6. Copy all the files of the folder to your backup folder - but not to the same one where the Bliss files are.

7. Choose the folder C:\Program Files\Handicom\SymForWin\Users

8. Copy all the files in the folder to your backup folder - but not to the same one where the Bliss files are.

Bliss for Windows users

1. Close first all BfW -applications.

2. Choose the folder "C:\Blissfw".

3. Copy all the files of the folder to your backup folder.
